Economic Zones World is also present as counsellor for the Djibouti Ports & Free Zones Authority (DPFZA) concerning all project’s activities and license issues. DPFZA is the sole authority in charge of the administration and the control of all the free zones in Djibouti. The entity plays an instrumental role as the sole interface between the free zone companies and any other governmental bodies and comes under the direct authority of the Djibouti Presidential Office. DPFZA is entrusted with the task of ensuring that every rule and regulation drafted for the operations of the free zones under its authority are in accordance with the Free Zone Acts
